I didnt see an introduction thread so I figured I would just post here.

Just bought my second grand prix, its a 1990 TGP, its the one posted in the forsale section here from Idaho.  I would like to use it as a daily driver and give it some TLC.  Hoping you guys could give me some helpful links to parts places and such, although I am sure junk yards will be my best friend.  If any of you have a stock CD player for one of these things I would love to take it off your hands!! :icon_cool:

Also, this car has yellow top injectors, not stock ones, any Idea why that is???

Anyways, i already posted on w-body, but it didnt seem to show up.  A little about me....

First grand prix I purchased was a 2002 GTP, and I love the thing but its become a track queen.  I have owned it for quite a while and modded the driveability out of it.  I go by Gibby on all other newer generation grand prix forums...
Here is a picture right after paint... Unfourtunately she doesnt look so nice anymore, with the door dings and such...

Ive been on ClubGP & other w-body forums for a few years I go by either twalt13 or GPChief.

Your yellow top injectors are actually FORD CS302 injectctors that work well as stock replacement injectors for our cars espically if you have a chip.

Just noticed Adam already tuned it......your set.  Adam is awesome  :icon_cool:!

Thanks for the replies, the car has a lot of quirks that need fixed. Its been neglected for so long...  Cooling fans died today while driving, it hit 240ish on the temp gauge.  Pulled into orielly, bad fan relay.  Much better now but I will be watching it.

Did these cars come with key fobs?

Reason I ask about the key FOB is because there is some heavily corroded wires in the engine bay, I followed them to the hood latch... I have never seen a FOB work on a hood before, but dont know what else the wires could be for..  It is NOT the cable that is corroded, it is definitely electrical..

It is probably for your "Hood Ajar" light in your center console.
