Buying Working instrument cluster and HUD

I want to buy a working instrument cluster and HUD.

I actually have 2 spare HUD but I have no idea if they work or not, they came with the car. Does anyone know if they are easy to test, I've never taken one out.

As for the instrument cluster, mine doesn't work either so I rely on the HUD.

Robert Saar repairs the clusters.  For a fantastic price to boot. 


The HUD is not too hard to test.  There are 2 screws at the top of the gauge bezel, and one above the glove box.  Then the upper dash pad just lifts off.  It's just clipped on.
