oil change

I am doing an oil change this weekend and I am upgrading to a K&N filter. I would also like to go to full synthetic oil. What is the best for these cars? What are you guys using in your TGP?

If your car has a lot of miles on like over 100,000 I wouldn't even think about going to synthetic. Synthetic oil frees up dirt and carbon that's been building up in your engine. Maybe a synthetic blend would be alright, but I would just use a high quality regular oil. I use Castrol GTX 5W-30, and don't use Fram oil filters...use AC Delco's.


Are you anywhere near Allentown, PA???

I use Mobil 1 10w-30 full synthetic and AC Delco filters. I wonder if using the full synthetic caused my turbo oil line to clog up...

Time and use are what cause the oil return hoses to go bad 8)
