Does anyone know the status of these?  I would be real interested in getting one, but they need an order of 30.  We'd have to get a bunch together..   Anyone in?

I don't know what happened to that, but I think Ignition Audio backed out of it though. The only way I can see of getting gauges onto the pillars is to use mounting cups.

There is a member here...eclipse5302 (I think)..that is making them..$130 for 2 pod..$160 for 3 pod. There was a thread about them in the For Sale section. The I/A deal is dead...they backed out.

Yea, I make those.  I've got some pics on my website, in the Performance section.  They are custom made, and they look really good.  Check it out.

Yeah I was looking at those.  They look really nice man.  Can you make them to match the tan color of an 89?  I could send you mine to match I suppose, or do you just add pods to the factory piece?   :fadein:

From what I understand, he adds the pods to the factory pillar. You send him the one from your car, and he molds the pods onto them. Does an awesome job too! :D I look forward to getting one this summer when I have more $$$$

Thanks!!

Yes, I bascially mold the pods to your factory pod (or if I can find any locally).  It arrives primered and sanded and ready for your paint.  You can use vinyl paint from any local car paint store.  They can mix it to match your color in your car.

I may start painting them to match...I don't know yet.

Well I'll tell ya what, there is a salvage yard about 10 mins from my house, and I'll pull a couple out of their cars and try to make the paint match.  I'll send ya one that I pull from another car cuz I'm not too trusting in my painting skills.    Give me a few weeks to a month and I'll catch up with ya.

Sure, let me know.  I guess I could hit the paint store and get a pint of the tan and grey to paint the pillar pods.  TGPs/STEs don't use any other color than that.  Who knows...

Anyhow, let me know when you want one.  I ask that people send me their pillar panel, and sometimes I modify theirs or use another one that I have.  Since they need to be painted anyhow, color doesn't really matter.

What pods do you use to mold?  Any specifics or just any that are cheap?
