Steering Wheel Radio Controls

How do I remove the steering wheel radio controls?  Are there screws or do they just pop off some how?

Currently own a 1990 Black TGP Stock.
Previous owner of a 1989 TGP: FFP Dogbones, K&N, KVR rotors/pads. Exhaust: 3" hi-flo cat, Dynomax 2.5" Ultra Flo mufflers.

Sneak a small flat screw driver behind the button assembly, pry a little, and it will pop right out.

Just make sure you don't catch a button instead of the whole assembly!
