Mine are stuck on with some of that double sided foam like tape.  They did it when the car was painted before I bought it and they did a piss poor job of cutting it to match the emblem so I'm also looking for the answer to this question for when I redo mine.  Is it best to just stick with the double sided tape?

Double Sided tape seems to be the best way to go.
