Underdrive pulley beneficial to the TGP motor?

Anyone know if an underdrive pulley would be beneficial to the 3.1 Turbo motor?

I was thinking of getting the 3.1 pulley from www.fastfwdperformance.com when it becomes available.

I know it might cause a drain on my alternator, Jeorge suggested that a smaller alternator pulley, say from a Cavalier, would fix the problem if it ever rises.

My A/C doesn't really work right now, and I like to have the windows down and sunroof open anyway :) So the A/C isn't much of a concern.
