Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Brakes / Re: Tire Question
February 22, 2007, 08:23:56 PM
They inflated the tire to 44 PSI??  That is WAYY to much... had to be riding like a rock.  30-32 is good.  And no tire is going to have an "Inflate to.." on them because the same size tire is on many different cars, and the inflation specs are different.  Where I work, we go by the placard (SP?), unless it is an older Explorer, in which the placard says "26PSI".  And we ALL know what happened there... :icon_rolleyes:

Anyone got a spare Getrag 282 that I can have the shift fork out of.  Mine seemed to work its way past the throwout bearing and got all torn up by the clutch/Pressure plate... YUM  Let me know.  Thanks.

Okay guys, I got everything apart on the TGP.  Now I need the help!  Where am I to get new control arm and cradle bushings?  Also front springs?  (Maybe A Drop Setup, nothing dramatic)  What about lower engine mount bushing?  Thanks guys!

The next will probably be France. Our one hope on France is that they might see the light and realize that if we don't win, they are finished too, in that they can't resist the Muslim terrorists without us.  However, it may already be too late for France .  France is already 20% Muslim and fading fast!  If we lose the war, our production, income, exports and way of life will all vanish as we know it. After losing, who would trade or deal with us, if they were threatened by the Muslims. If we can't stop the Muslims, how
could anyone else?

Wow.  Everyone see this?

Off Topic / Home Audio

Anyone here into home audio?  I bought my dad a Onkyo 7.1 Surround Sound reciever, and I am looking for a 7.1 channel speaker setup for him for fathers day.  Not too many companies make a 7.1 speaker setup alone, yet for a decent price.  Wondering if anyone could give me some input.  OH and by the way, picked up some torches today so I can finally heat up the subframe bolt and drop the trans here real soon!  :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

General / FINALLY
March 09, 2006, 07:30:20 PM
FINALLY A WARM DAY HERE IN NORTHEAST OHIO!  So what do I do?  Ditch my class and start tearing into the TGP.  Replacing the throwout bearing  (took a shit on me) clutch, and flywheel.  Anything else I Should consider replacing?   I am allready counting on doing tierods, ball joints, control arm bushings, oil pan gasket, calipers/pads/rotors (Fronts, maybe rears), lower motor mount bushings (any specific kind?) upper bushings  (Again, any suggestions?).  Maybe Ill consider the starter just to be safe since I Have to take it off anyways.  All cv boots look good and axles seem to be in decent shape, I will check them out when I pop em out since I coulden't do it tonight because I didn't have a large enough socket to remove them with here @ the household and work was allready closed.    Anything else you think I should consider, let me know!
