Update: This car is no longer for sale. I texted the kid, and he said he wasn't selling it now due to a blown headgasket.

Wow, this one is right down the road for me! I might have to go look at it.

Well that's interesting. Has anyone here had problems with the Ford yellow tops leaking? Also, it seems like it gets worse the shorter the amount of time the car is shut off. Now it will try to stall itself out when I put it in gear and give it a little bit of gas to get it going. But that lasts for like a minute tops.

So if it were a cracked coil/ICM, wouldn't it throw a code? The only code it has thrown was a knock sensor code, and since I fixed that, it hasn't thrown any other codes.

Well damn, I hope it is not the injectors. It has always done this since I have put the new Ford yellow top injectors in the new motor.

OK so I have a question, and wasn't sure where to post this. So I run the car for a little while and then shut it off. Then when I first start the car after a little while, it will sound like it is missing and the exhaust smells rich for about 10-15 seconds or so. Then after that, it clears up and runs fine. Does this have something to do with the TGP stock tune, or is it a delayed response from the oxygen sensor?

Have you still got the T25 turbo that needs rebuilt? Is the exhaust housing on it good (as in not cracked)?

Nevermind, I found a T25 with 20,000 miles on it.

Will the cracking at the wastegate hole get any worse? I have two small cracks that have developed on mine. I was also wondering if anyone has tried fixing the cracks before, since I am going to have trouble finding the right turbine housing. Thanks.

Yeah that is where mine is cracked. I was kind of hoping to find one without the cracks there.

Hey do you by chance have a TGP T25 exhaust housing laying around? If so, let me know, I found out today that mine has a crack in it.  :icon_frown:

I use a first gen. DSM blow-off valve that I got off of ebay, and it works great.

Gerry is the one to talk to, tell him Kyle Krenz sent you. But be prepared to pay a little extra.

So do you have any numbers as to what kind of hp gain you got by doing the T28 hybrid turbo? I am just looking for some ballpark hp numbers is all.

What would be a better turbo?  I was offered a T28 ball bearing for a silva S15 that is internally gated.  Would that be a good start i have also been told about the T25/28 hybrid.  Hopefuly my question benifits the poster and me.

Those Nissan T28's are typically going to take a good bit of work to bolt on to a TGP. I would go another route...
That's why you buy the T-28 kit and build it in your T-25 shell...thus creating the T-28 Hybrid.

Hey can someone explain what a manual boost controller does? How hard is it to upgrade the wastegate?

So where do you get the T28 kit at? I am interested in doing this swap as well.

I am curious, where are you located at? Damn, that sure is a pretty TGP you have.
