Any1 know prices on front struts, and if they're hard to put on myself?

Also if anyone has an extra stock rim they have for sale, i need one. Mine has a little crack in it so i got a slow leak.

No idea on prices. You'll have to call a store or lookup parts online for that.

You need a special w-body strut cartridge remover to do the job. They come out through the top of the strut tower.

Look up KYB GR2 struts. Best replacement available for the money... 8)

KYB's are about the best your gonna find.  for all the way around the car your looking at around $225.  As long as you have an impact wrench you should be able to do the job fairly easily.

How about without air tools?  Pondering the KYB's, they sound nice.  Is it worth getting air tools for this job?

No Airtools required for the front struts. You need the special W-body Strut replacement tool. These tools are available to rent from Checker, Vato Zone, and Pep Boys IIRC. With the tool you leave the car on the ground (tires on! No jack required) and follow the directions on the W-body strut tool box or get a any GM W-body manual and follow those directions. Best bet is to make sure the tool has the directions included. This is a 1.0 hour job with the W-body Tool... 8)
