My TGP has the layout for coils on the front with the emissions info sticker.  the layout on the sticker is different from the layout in my '89 service manual. The STE supplement doesn't have coil layout in it that I have seen.  The first coil from the left is for #4, #1 in the n.a. service manual, the layout on the sticker says the first coil is for #1, #4--yhese are in respective orders.   WTF??   My #1 cylinder looked like it was running more rich (darker valves) than the others when I had my heads off.  Would the layout of my plug wires and coils do this??  I had the layout in the book when I had the car running--didn't seem to be running at all abnormal though-but according to the sticker I had the first coil reversed.   Can anyone figure out which is correct-the book or the front of the car.   TIA, Dale Malcolm    Omaha, NE.

When you are facing the coil packs..the layout is 1-4-6-3-2-5  No 1 cyl is against the firewall-pass side.

Whether is 14 36 265 or 41 63 52 it doesn't matter. They are both connected to the same coil, it will just reverse the current flow.

Chris you must have a '91 TGP because my 90 only fires the #6 cylinder once.
