There was a lowered 98+ Civic HX [107hp] 5-speed 2-door with the EX style spoiler, altezzas, fartcan and wheels next to an older 70s Toyota pick-up. Well I got sick and tired of being behind this slow ass pick-up, so I went around the truck and got behind the Civic.

Well the Civic quickly got over to the next lane. We both got stuck at the light that leads up a hill. I looked over at his car and saw fuzzy dice in his drivers rear quarter window. I was like "huh?"

The light turned green and I left normally. Halfway up the hill the Civic decided he wanted to play once he heard my loud exhaust. Well he floors it next to me and I floor it. We where neck and neck the whole way as we went over the top of the hill. I let off because of the light on the bottom of the hill and just coasted on through. He sped up a little in shame that I kept up with him the whole way.

Anyway, I was in my dads 1991 Plymouth Acclaim 2.5 4-cylinder with a 3-speed auto with a ground shaking 98hp and 135ft/lbs of torque with my friend in the passanger seat. And you guys thought I was in the TGP! HA!

True in some cases, but there are quite a few tasteful/respectable Hondas around here that can hand you your ass(The 11second Civic hatch for one, interior is gutted and whatnot, but it's still street legal).

Not in my area. There's like one turbo Civic I've seen, and a cool kid with a B16 swapped hatch that runs mid 14s on a good day.

That's cool, we've got quite a few around here and a decent "speed shop" that pretty much specializes in import tuning.  An Integra was for sale from there not too long ago that made ~425 to the wheels with nitrous, I don't remember the numbers it made off nitrous.  Anyways, there are a variety of different setups used on various hondas/acuras around here, I know of at least one supercharged blue Civic SI(he goes to car shows here a great deal), then there are plenty more juiced ones, a few turbocharged ones, etc...

most around here have little punk kids who just got their liscenses and are lucky to run 17's in the quarter.  There are a couple though like you say that are relatively nice but I think they run on Uncle Ben's rather than the cheap store brand rice.
