Well, I have my FMI in my room, and I just ordered $77 worth of high-heat intercooler couplers. I just now need to get my t-bolt clamps off of ebay and order my pipes from jcwhitney.com.

I have a custom FMI I bought off of ebay last year that I'm going to use. It's like a Spearco type intercooler. I won't have any pictures till I get it installed because of no digital camera or scanner  :?

This project is going to be a huge pain in the ass.

of you relocate the battery it should be fairly easy. I have built FMIC kits for a bunch of cars. and helped timg plumb his IC in his turbo monte.

What is a pain in the ass about it?

Mostly the size of the intercooler and the amount of space available in the front of a TGP and routing all the pipes for it.

RedZMonte

the pipe routing should be cake. are you relocating your battery? as for the mounting, just look for a good place to run some bolts into, get metal alluminum straps welded to the intercooler and bolt it in place. there should be plenty of room behind the bumper cover for most intercoolers. hell if tim fit that huge fukr in his then you can fit most anything in there.

once the battery is relocated and the cooler is mounted it should not be difficult to run the pipes.
