Has anybody seen this conversion TGP? Was this really done? If so, then by whom.

A friend and I were joking around about that the other day.  I guess it could be done, but I think it would be way too much money and time.  But if that guy has the galls to do it, then go for it!!

It could be done...sure! The Cutlass Convertables are the same W-body construction, but it isn't as straight forward as people would like to think. Something tells me ASC is not going to give him much info as they are a pretty tight lipped operation when it comes to the tricks of the convertable trade :? . I would love to see a CTGP5SPD, but I think my projects are pretty much finished for this year though. I would be more inclined to put a 3.1 Turbo motor into a Cutlass Convertable and save my sanity... 8)

:drinking: Hey TG, drink a few beers and you'll have that CTGP5SPD done in no time.

I would like to see one of those too. But then again I'd be happy just seeing a 5-speed in my TGP.  Someday.

A few too many beers and it may just be a TGP with no roof and a smoking Saws-All next to the car!  :drinking:  :drinking:

well being that is my site it must be Me who is doing that.

Well Yeah I am. I know its going to Suck but as soon as my STE is done and my Friends Lumina 4.6L conversion are done we are going to do it.

we may not get a Kit for others to do it but We are going to try it anyways. and for about $10000 we figure so for 10K we will have a new Convertible that will be the only one of its kind

Right now me and 2 friends are working on getting governmetn grants to open a Buisness.

and if we can get that buisness going we are going to Try it and see what can get done. but My STE is First on the automotive Conversion line then the 92 Lumina and then the Convertible 5 speed TGP so yeah we are working on the PLanning and with 2 donner cars I think it can be done.
