Im so happy with the turnout!!!!!

not perfect but...... :)

anyway the paint scheme for my engine is silver and black with red coils and plug wires (MSD)

here is the first Coat of Silver VHT Engine Enamel Base Coat

I then taped off all the raised parts and lettering with masking tape.....and added the second coat of black VHT Engine Enamel

Finally remove the taped off sections and add VHT Clear to shine and protect the previous coats and you have!!!!!!!!

my front valve cover looks the same with the silver on the raised section

im so happy and yes this will be put together SOON!!!! Hopefully

Very nice job!  Did you hand paint the silver sections?

That looks SWEEET!  So you didn't prep it in any way (aside from wiping it down, of course)?  Just painted over it?

Thanks Guys!!!!

I had it sandblasted first and then whiped it with thinners and then sprayed away....

Looks good - did you do the valve covers to match?

Did something similar on mine, except polished the raised parts...

That looks nice!
I saw an NA 3.1 plenum on Ebay a long time ago that was painted with Harley "Hammered black" spray paint on the outside, and another color on the inside, I thought it looked awesome. Some day, some time I will have either of mine painted. Right now the Beretta's is polished.

Hope you don't mind me browsing your web site, and I admit this is off topic so others please ignor.  Nice collection of pics, house, cars, family and cat (I have 3   ) and Blue LED/Silver Enermax Case, sweet looking, is that water cooling or just good wire management 8) ?  Looking to snag one for $50 and build up another PC as a spare, got enough spare pieces, G-Force4TI4600, two 60 gigs, CD and DVD burners etc, use this PC to test software not sure is safe for (any) Windows XP.  A 14.5 for your TSTE, nice numbers, tricky to get these 225mm tires to hook for a good 60 foot!!

Speaking of the website.....not to nit pick, but I was looking through your TSTE section, and I noticed it said it has a 10-speaker system.  The dash on the STEs unfortunately do not have any speakers, so it is actually an 8-speaker system.  Just thought I'd pass the info on.  We now return you to your regularly scheduled plenum praising.   :D
