Personally, if I were going to repaint one, I would keep the original color.  Both the red & the black look great on TGP's.  I'm not sure what this color is that you're talking about so I would have to see it to give my opinion, but I can't see orange looking good on a TGP...maybe a photoshop of it?

I didn't see a "Sunburst Orange Metallic" but the sunfire does come in a "Fusion Orange Metallic" and I think that color would look good on a TGP as long as you get some wheels that would go with it.  The good thing about that color is that our grey and tan interiors would both go good with it.  But honestly, I'm going to have to go with Shawn on this and say that I would stick with the original color.  If you do end up getting it painted make sure and post pictures.

Well, My friends grandpa is a Car painter, and we were looking through his paint books, and all it siad was sunburst orange metallic, and it had Sunfire/Cavilier under it, so thats what i was thinking, and orange is my favorite color too.

I don't think that color would look too great on a TGP(at least, to me it wouldn't).  If I were to go with anything other then the original colors, I'd probably pick a nice shade of blue or a dark shade of gray.

If you're going to paint the TGP any bright color like that just be sure to de-badge it. Nothing sucks more than an orange grand prix that says "TURBO" on the side for the cops to pick on   . My brother painted his Integra a BRIGHT ORANGE and always got pulled over just because the cops could spot him easier(well..................... that was part of the reason  ).

Sunset Orange Metallic from the Trans Am would look good.
