TGP OE cam..are you sure?

I keep getting the 2.8 cam as a replacement. I haven't taken the TGP apart (like if i were to rebuild it stock  :twisted:   :wink:  hehe)...but everyone thinks its a stock 3.1 cam. I just found out gm has 5 different cams..well 6 with the 3.4 rwd. But im wondering if we go a crane grind or we got 2.8 leftovers. The 2.8s had the fuel pump lobe on the stick still while the 3.1s had no lobe for the fuel pump..(I could see hair line lobe difference between the 2.8 (beretta)and the 3.1 (94 GP)cams I have.

I've always been told it was the same as the HO Fiero cam...but I don't know if thats right or not.  Personally, I doubt there can be enough of a difference between them to make a noticable difference.
