MAP ?

Would a crapped out MAP cause high Idle?
Obsessed is the lazy mans word for dedication.

how high of an idle we talking here 1500 RPM, 2500 RPM, 3000 RPM? If its around 1000-1500 when you start the car thats normal (on a broken speedometer cluster that around 2000 rpm)

OK were talkin like 3k plus, but I did replace the Idle Control Valve and toyed around with some vacuume lines, but really couldent find anything, reset the ECU and its idleing fine now... We will see in a couple of days whats going on, lol.
