Update:

The price is $220 CDN + shipping.  The thread has pics of a car lowered 2+ yrs ago with this spring (page 4).  Comes with new poly mounts that can be shaved to offer up to another 1/2" drop.  This is the safest way to lower the car.  Around $170-$180 USD.  We have 5 or so already definetely, anyone interested please PM me here or at W-body.

Thanks.

Glad to see you taking this one on 8), seen too often on other boards and mailing lists when tons of owners ?say? they want something, then someone; Group Buyer Rep/GBR steps up to take on this adventure and to help others out.  Lots of people come on saying they all want but after much commitment by the GBR to a supplier, about 60 to 80% prospective buyers drop out later leaving the GBR with egg on his face  having to make apologies to the supplier  .  This one is going better, though with the front spring GB I only needed 1 set of front springs and went with another that I "might" use and a spare to sell later all just to help out Ryan met his quota that we were missing as people dropped out.  Glad this GB is being shared so we don?t double-burn out Ryan with the front spring GB  8) .

I did some measuring and with old struts a 2 inch drop is good, new struts and a 3 inch is needed, and with the ability to adjust in the back with the poly bushing (already have these) and some drag blocks I made up years ago, should be able to work easy within these ranges so, put me down for (in descending order of preference): a 3 inch and a 2.5 if that is possible, if not then a 3 inch and a 2 inch, if not then two at 3 or 2.5 inch whichever is easier for your supplier to work with, I will take it from there.

Thanks again for helping out, I got my tracking number from Ryan  8) (THANKS!!) for the fronts so should see those soon!!!

I'm contemplating this, but the only thing holding me back is whether the 1.8" drop in the front is low enough, or not.  I'm thinking around 2.5"-3", as well.  It's great that we can get the rears at whatever we want, but.....if we don't have a front to match an equally dramatic drop..... :?:

thats a big drop for the front your looking at...

you must have good roads in Illinois

im hoping for 1.5-1.8  in the intrax springs (no more no less)

and im convinced i can get the rear leaf to match....

lemme know if you want in on the Rear Leaf

Good roads?    AAAAHAHAHAHA!!!

Remember, we have two seasons here in Chicago:  Winter, and construction.

Well...I'm only thinking that low because I wan't the BMW-like, gapless look in the wheel wells.  Not the ghetto lowered look, but the clean, European sports car look.  I don't know if 1.8" would really achieve that in the front.  I wish I could see how this looks on someones car before I made a decision.

1.8" will lower it more than you think.  Lower than that would be too low IMO.  One of the reasons I actually decided to not go for the intrax springs was because I don't think I want to go that low.

I have about 2 1/2" on the front of my car between tires and fender flare.  I don't think they will go as low as we are all hoping, but you never know..  I will take measurements when I drop mine so everyone can see what they did, but if I'm not the first please get those pics up!!

IIRC with a 1.8 drop, the fender flare will have less than 1 1/4" gap from the tire.  I was also thinking BMW or other European look.. I think they will look good.  That Cutty on W-body with the Intrax springs looks good, but I think it could go a little lower and wouldn't look bad.

Davis I will get measurements tomorrow and relay them to you sometime during the day.

I looked a bit more at Intrax website

in the FAQ section they claim the ride height will be 1.8 upon install....there is no settling in time....

so the measurement is set right away.....
