My TSTE is constantly showing "Check ABS" on the DIC and has the light on the dash also. Seems to be getting worse as the tempurature outside continues to fall...

According to the GM service manuals, they can "only" be accessed with a bi-directional scan tool.

I'd check all the wiring to your wheel sensors. I found a broken one on the front pass. side wheel of the TGP which was throwing the ABS light. It fixed it for a few days, but started to come on again (I suspect a rear wheel sensor now).

I wish there was a way we could read ABS codes without some goofy, expensive scanner. I'd love to get this one fixed.

I have been getting the dash light too. I just fixed one of the wires too and it did not help the light yet. But I did not pull any fuses yet to try to reset it. The computer I found out is under the pass. side seat, and wires can get scraped on by the seat rails

It was my pass. rear wire and it wore off the plug on the pavement and so I had to splice in some lengths of wire and drill out the rivets in the floor   and  put in a rubber grommet and add more wire loom.

Now i just have to spray around underneath with some rubberized undercoating, then go around and check other ones. I heard you can clean the sensors or something?Anybody done this?
