I've noticed that some have the numbers on them and some don't.  Is there any difference?  Maybe when they were made?

I think it depends on when they were made Greg. I replaced a coil on my parents late model GTP about a year and a half ago and the AC Delco replacement I put on the car didn't have the numbers while the original coils did.

I believe they stopped putting the numbers on somewhere in '03-04, so I think its just when they were made.
