In our never ending quest for more HP...

Have inquired with a company called Flow Kooler who makes modified water pumps for HP technoligies.

Does anyone have an old (or new) water pump laying around, I need to find our the dimensions for the impeller and how many blades are on it.

Thanks,
Thomas

It would only make the water pump more efficent, not sure of the actual performance gains, but every little bit helps.

Am currently deployed in Afghanistan, so I cant get the info myself, anyone?

I really don't have a reason at the moment to pull my water pump on either car...I can run to the dealer this weekend though. What particulars/demensions do you need?

Are you trying to come up with a WP with less drag, or an electric water pump.  If you're trying to get an electric water pump let me know what you come up with because I'm interested.

Not looking for an all out electric WP, a lot of people have done awesome jobs extracting more power from their engines, I know we are having success here in Afghanistan on 6.5 & 6.2 diesel engines with these WP impellers (completely different engines - I know) but the principal would be the same cooler running = more power.

Thanks flybynight, I'll send the dimensions to Flow Kooler and let everyone know what they say.

Their answer:

"Dear Mr. Waltman,

Unfortunately, we do not have disc kits that would fit your application.

Thank you for your inquiry,
