Okay, so I was going to be a little sneaky and just got in a new bigger turbo yesterday and install it and run to the track and post up some impressive numbers withut telling anyone but i was working on it today and ran into some problems.  In taking the old turbo off, I somehow managed to break one of the fuel lines.  I didn't really notice it too much since my car had been smelling like fuel already due to injector swaping and new plugs. Unfortunatle to say, in putting the alternator back in after changing the plugs, the power wire hit on the intake manifold and sparked causing the fuel from the fuel rail to catch then spreading over to the fuel line.  So, my engine bay is a big pile of black charred mess.  So, anybody wanna buy a brand new t3/t4 Hybrid for cheap?

......no but seriously, I got my Mom GOOD today  :icon_biggrin:.  My car has had the nickname "Black Widow" because of the giant black spiders whos domain is a 3.1 turbo motor in my new car. I have found 2 giant ones under the hood and everyone has heard me talking about it recently.

.and we put this little rattler (paper clip with a rubber band and plastic bread bag clip) in the bottom corner of an envelope and wrote "black widow eggs" on it and gave it to her...  :icon_eek: :icon_lol:she almost knocked over the counter jumping back :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_cool: the thing worked real good, total riot.

Yea I knew but I was sympathetic. So now you can burn burn Babbie.

I have known idiots to do such things. :icon_frown: Like the pinion gear coming out of the housing and going into the gas tank. Guess what happened. :icon_question: Me and my partner had built the car our guarantee was, 30' or 30 seconds , which ever comes first. I won the suit and collected 8,000 for attorney and filing fees. Kid was a jerk. Never checked anything. He just raced and raced. This was back in the days when the cops would watch you race. This was a long time ago.
