Hello all

Just a FYI for those intrested in this, I have one now and its NOT a sealed unit.

where the USB and 28 pin Ribbon connect there is a possability for water, dirt, grime to enter and possably effect the unit.

im going to attempt to silicone around the components and create a better seal against the elements, silicone will not effect the internals but will create a barrier.

other than that its a solid unit and should work great......need a longer USB 2 cable also to run into the cabin.

getting there........

got my crossover all wrapped and sprayed, the DEI headerwrap spray makes it hard like a fiberglass arm or leg cast

still need a turbo to put on....Phoenix turbo has mine for service so I'm waiting on that still.

installed the LC-1 last night and i have a few more goodies to wire yet...

slowly but surely

Another Thing

The G1 Adapter with the Aries S2 Zif on it will just fit in the ECM with the lid on.

now you may have to trim the piece of Cork if you wanted to put on an Atmel chip...

and if you want to attatch the Ostrich Ribbon cable in the S2 Zif, on the G1 and be able to put the lid on... thats not going to happen.......unless you remove the "fins" and "ribs" under the stock ECM cover with a grinder, which is what i did and it all fits in nicely now with the stock ECM gasket and lid on.  :icon_cool:
