its discontinued from GM i know that

i found mine in a wrecking yard so i kinda lucked out there....

Jeff M at one time had brand new ones he bought from GM as new old stock so maybe PM him on here.

otherwise it gonna be tough..

do they got flex bellows that small? you may be able to make a stainless copy of it. They make solid mandrel bent stainless ones for the LT1 chevy motor that look almost identical to ours. they might not need the flex bellows but it would be awesome if it had them cause then it wouldnt crack. If my project has a cracked one, I will have to hire a welder to fab up one for me.  I bet it will be cheaper in the end.

Wrecking yard is the best option IMO

you need one from a Vac style EGR as the digital units are diffrent

got mine from a 2.8 MPFI Grand prix...

I tried to make a better one but never panned out......

theres alot of 2.8s at the wreckkers in cambridge Dave... maaybe we can get one out if u come down here and hit up the yard

The EGR tube on my TGP has no connection to the x-over. Its just welded to it. how am I suppose to replace this??

Cut off the bung...drill it to remove the previous weld...have another tap bung welded on. Wouldn't be the first time I had seen that. Did you put your new bellows on or is this holding you up? Did you get replacement bellows for the ones you got that were ugly looking? :icon_cool:

Sorry about not responding earlier...

Turns out it wasnt welded on, it just looked like it. I gave up trying to take off the x-over, and I hired a local welder to take it off and replace it. Only going to charge me 250..

As far as the Bellows go.. No I didnt get new ones. I took the wife to get her hair cut one morning, came out, and the 2 bolt on the front manifold to x-over bolts were broken and resting on the engine cradle. So I am kinda forced with the old ones. I talked to Walker exhausts about the braiding being kinda messed up. The rep said it was almost perfectly normal for this cause doing the "pinch" process, the metals pushing against each other cause that. So, I will go ahead and try em out. I dont think I will have a problem. about 5% of the braiding was messed up, So as long as the other 95% hold up for the extra tensions, I will be good.

I got pics of the turbo out, and the engine bay with it out. I was apsolutely amazed at the turbos condition. Apsolutely no blow by evident on the wheels. The exhaust wheel wasnt even black from any type of soot build up. None of the fins were broken or missing, even thou I did have a chunk of the old bellows that was missing. Apsolutely no shaft play. Even the tech that was working on it asked me if I had just replaced it or something, cause it was in new condition. No cracks even in the housings like I have heard was common on these..

are you talking about the two studs that come out of the exhaust manifold on the end are broken?  those can be replaced.  you can probably just pull them out of a regular NA 3.1 exhaust manifold at the j/y if you can't buy new ones anywhere.  McMaster-Carr might have suitable replacement studs available if the GM dealership doesn't have them.

I HAVE A REBUILTX-OVER... Now I just need a new EGR tube as it came off the car in 3 peices LOL..

Cost me 700 bucks total. Thats including 2 tow truck tows, 167 dollar rental car, 80 dollar GM O2 sensor, the new bellows, and the labor I paid for the RR of the x-over, and for my shop to take off the x-over and build a jig to rebuild it with. If my math is right, I saved about 300 bucks by not buying a rebuilt one, and just rebuilding it myself.. Have some pics, will post shortly..
