Well i have figured my old wastegate actuator was the shits!!  :icon_neutral:

never had much spring to it and it was kinda weak, with that Garrett reman i got on ebay which has been "serviced" and on my car now i got a new W/C actuator and this one is adjustable (threaded rod).

well what a difference when the boost hits now  :icon_twisted:

much improved  :icon_cool:

GangstGP

you mean the one they said was from garrett didnt come with a threaded one? mine did :icon_confused: did you adjust it yet?

With all of the backpressure we have the stock W/G isn't much worth a shit anyway. The TGP  my way ;)

GangstGP

so did turning the threads make a difference at all?

GangstGP...if you shorten the rod you increase the amount of preload on the spring. That causes it to require more pressure from the boost circuit to open. I had the one on my Sunbird set to 12 psi of preload. So that way no matter what the solenoid was sending to the actuator it did not open the wastegate until 12 psi.

I do not know what the setting will be on this application...but on the sunbird every 2 revolutions was 1.5 PSI increase. On the TGP T25 I do not know what the change would be. Play with it and see with minor changes.
