my lower motor mount is like jello.... black jello that is.  That explains the banging when it downshifts.   Ive never replaced that mount before  ....  I know theres 2 bolts underneath and i probably jack the motor up. My friend said i have to unbolt the whole bracket from the motor to fit the new mount in?? I dont listen to him he drives a fiero hahaahahahhhhah back on track... Whats the easiest way? does anything else need to be taken out to do this?  Is fiero kid right?

no, don't remove the bracket. Just jack the motor (please be careful with that oil pan) and take it out.. it'll be messy to get it off the motor bracket but shouldn't be too bad.

use a piece of wood between the pan and the jack, that will most likely keep it from puncturing the pan.

Please be careful when jacking the engine forward...when they did mine, the engine went too far forward and hit my radiator...good luck finding a new one...lol. Be careful.
