ok. just wondering. some people act like there dif and some like there the same. I'm guessing the tgp is the coupe and the ste turbo is the sedan.

Well, there are SOME differences. The 89 has a different dash, and the seat treatment may be a little different. The headlights are also painted differently. The 90 COUPE and the Turbo STE are smilar except for the two door/ four door differences. The STE is more of a luxury car, while the coupe is more of a sports car.

the STE produces an anoying beep every few seconds, in addition to
ABS light flashing, when the accumulator charge is low. Also i am pretty sure the chip is set for softer take offs due to smaller tires on ste.

Replace the accumulator, around $130, that will take care of the Beep & light.  My three year old always said it was time to get up when it started beeping at me. Kids....

The chip is the same to my knowledge.  The TGP's have smaller tires on them, not the STEs.

Note: when you chenge the acumulator, put trans in N and rock engine forward, I put a piece of 2x4 behind the Alt to lock engine forward (makes life easier).

Good luck,
Thomas
