Saddlewood or Camel's ass some shit like that...I am trying to find the real "name" for you... 8)

My tan interior 1990 is "light beechwood" in color(says so on the window sticker). The headliner in my car was replaced by the previous owner with "beechwood" colored carpet material and it's a dead on match with the stock carpet.

Pictures of my car(just in case the color varies w/ different TGP's???)

I knew it was some sort of wood or camel excrement!

I can't stand tan interior cars...but oh well life goes on till I find that mint low mileage Black on Grey TGP...

I don't think the tan is all that great, either, but I think the light grey looks even cheaper, to be honest.

Thus why the charcoal grey is going in mine.

the light gray looks hella cheap, thats why there less common on TGPs and more common on SE's and Les, because tan was the "luxury" color    right.... but the charcoal is MUCH nicer, the tans "ok" but i would take it over the extremely cheesy bright gray

My senses only detect a small amount of jealousy

I like both colors. I just saw a tan interior that was 100% unflawed mint "new car smell" and everything. It does not even have the cracks on the leg rests yet. Seats are not broken in at all, no fading or rips, except when I farted in the passenger seat. We wnt around the block and it hauls!

This car is far from ok, this,my friend, total tits up luxury. :)

The interior upholstery is called Articulated Tan.  A comma would have helped. For a long time, I thought they had misspelled it on my ASC/McLaren window sticker, but now I think they meant the front seats were articulated, and tan.

Beechwood Mats at Walmart will work and they are $20. Really.  : )

mfewtrail

Larry, the interior is definitely "light beechwood" in color, even your window sticker says so. ;) Articulating just describes the movement of our front bucket seats. I don't even see "tan" anywhere on the window sticker you posted over on the W-body board. There's no mention of tan on my 1990's window sticker either...just "INTERIOR COLOR - LIGHT BEECHWOOD" as the last item listed in the section that outlines what's included on the base model TGP.

Yes. Definitely "light beechwood". I have done a ton of researching about the carpet and interior fabric colors/availability.  :icon_cool: I will be posting soon about an entire carpet/trim replacement complete with pics.  :icon_biggrin: Larry. Right on about those Walmart mats.  ;)

You're absoultely right.   Sticker says Artic.  Bucket Seats.  My error.  Thanks. : )

Happy Thanksgiving to all.   :icon_lol:

GPChief. I don't think that JC Whitney is gonna have an exact color replacement for the rug. I ordered a rug about 2 years ago for my son's 93 Grand Prix. I think the color they sent was "dark saddle". Don't quote me on that though. It was a couple of years ago and who knew how important this would become. The carpet was good quality and easy to install. I would buy from them again. Let us know how you make out.
