So it snowed pretty good here very early Friday morning.  I was worried about the 30 minute (normally) drive to work, but found most of the roads were cleared since I didn't have to leave till 11:30 AM.  The parking lot at work wasn't thoroughly plowed, yet.  None of the lines were visible, so people were parked all sorts of incorrect ways.  Oh well.  No big deal.  I park in my normal row, about half way back.  I go to the car for lunch/dinner break at 4, and I find this (these were taken at home, not at work):

I could see the tire marks in the snow where the impact occurred right in front of where I was parked.  Needless to say, I was freaking fuming.  No notes, no nothing.  Probably didn't have insurance.  And of course, it had to happen RIGHT when I get rid of comprehensive coverage for the first time in my life.  I'm so incredibly pissed right now.  I mean, granted it's just going to need a fender, wheel flair and front bumper cover (that's going to be a bitch to find), it's not only creating work needlessly, but work that I can't do till next spring.  So now I have to drive around with that side of the car looking trashed.  I guess it's for the best that I didn't catch the person doing it, because he'd be dead right now, and I'd be in jail.  :gr_mad:

Wow man that sucks!  I'd be f**kin pissed too.   :cussing:  Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what the pics show, it doesn't look like the bumper cover is too trashed.  Hopefully u won't have to try and find one.  But dammit people really need to start paying attention to what they're doing!!!  :ugone2far:  Does your work have cameras outside?  Just an idea of how to start finding who dunnit.  :dunno:

Well it looks like the bumpers fine, or could easily be fixed at a body shop, new fender, and flares, and your set.

As I mentioned on the "other" board, give mitch (RareCarVR) a call. He told me he is going to part those 2 TGP's out. He should be able to give you the hook up. The TGP I sold him had a good fender, flare. It just needed paint if I remember right. Not sure the condition on the other TGP.

Sure sorry about your car and about your irritation that anybody could do this much damage and simply drive away. That is unbelievable.   :icon_frown:

Good luck on your repair efforts and in finding out who did this.

You let Krenzy know when you find out who did it. He take care of it :icon_twisted: These sick people that hit people's cars, even worse, a TGP...they need to be punished. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks, guys.  Yeah, the front bumper looks like it just needs to be bent back into shape.  It's just pushed in right now.  Fender and wheel flare should be pretty easy to find around here.  There are no outside cameras in this strip mall.  The mall is owned by some cheap Arab.  And don't worry, I have many ideas of how to rectify the situation if I ever find the person, but I very highly doubt we ever will.  :icon_sad:  It's just annoying because it's an added cost on a car I was going to sell this spring, and come somewhat close to breaking even on.  This just makes it that much less than breaking even.
