I picked up my car today. It's been in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks! I've been jones'n big time! Got so many things I want to do to it before I go to Florida. Stereo system, K&N, AC fin mod, detail etc.. I wasn't expecting it to be in the shop for that long. But it turned out OK. Got new tires installed. New brake pads. Brake fluid changed. ABS sensor fixed. Motor and tranny mounts installed. Fuel filter. Coolant flush.

Yeah. While it was in the shop the mechanic called and said he was sorry it was taking so long. He was super busy and got bogged down. Then he called last weekend and said his furnace stopped working and he had no heat or hot water in his house. I immediately offered my services and was able to get him up and running again. I seriously doubt I spent anywhere near the amount of time on his furnace that he spent on my car. But he said we were square. Who am I to argue?
He also has a small used car lot adjacent to his shop. When he was finished he parked it up front for me to pick up. I guess he had a couple people come in that were really interested in it. I talked to the salesman about it. He's like "WTF" one guy wanted to make an offer. Bad. So, he talked to the mechanic who promptly told him definitely not for sale.  :icon_evil:

Car goes back in the shop next week for Kenny crossover and turbo oil line.
