Man I have tried everything to figure out this problem. The boost cuts out when I go more than half throttle acceleration. It will cut out and re-engage when i back off the throttle. The SES light comes on for about 20 seconds and then it goes out. I can go full throttle, the boost will cut out quickly, If I hold the accelerator to the floor the engine will just stall. I have checked the turbo inlet hose for closure under pressure, thats fine. Have done a tune up wires module and plugs. Still no cure. I have just changed the TPS sensor today and now the idle is bent out of shape and it hesitates, and the SES light stays on fulll time. I guess I could put the old back on and cure that problem. Does anyone have a cure for this. I would really love to once and for all enjoy the performance of my car.Any help would be appreciated :(

You are overboosting.  It cuts out as a saftey precaution so the engine will not go into detination.  Check your wastegate hoses and make sure they are all securley fastened.

let me know, mine is acting the same except for the SES lamp. I have basically checked and or tested everything any one has suggested except for changeing the Fuel Pump, some think I may be detonating due to fuel starvation at WOT, but all the static pressure checks show ok, but it may just not be able to maintain pressure at high flow required for WOT.

Good luck, mine has me stumped! Without a logging scanner, it is really hard to trouble shoot this kind of problem.

The fuel pressure could be food for though. I did change my fuel pump and filter as well. I will go over that system once again. I looked at the wastegate and the vacuum line. Could my wastegate be stuck? If it is, how could I tell. And also, that electric/vacuum typr of solonoid that is in line with the vacuum to the wastegate, could that have somethng to do with it? :?

The wastegate actuator rod could be stuck.  When I first got my car the actuator rod was stuck and I gave it a liitle push and it freed up, but the diaphram inside the wastegate actuator was bad and was leaking boost.  Therefore it would overboost everytime I got on it all the way.  I could almost floor it, but then I would have to let off as the boost would peek or it would overboost.  I would check the wastegate actuator...you never know :)

I have found out what it was thanks to some good feedback from you guys. The vacuum line was leaking right at the wastegate end. I am now starting to get happy feet :P Thanks Guys
