Well great, I fixed this thing just a few months ago with fresh new front end parts, and some ASSHOLE fricking comes out of his driveway at mach 5 in reverse looking forward, and I stopped, tried to slam it in reverse when i stoped and steped on it, and he was STILL HAULING ASS in reverse not looking right at me, and Slams his jeep and its tow hitch right into the front of my car. It punctured my licence plate and bumper, DESTROYED the bumper cover, it ripped apart at the seams in places and those little center post spots just ripped apart, bent it all back into my wheel, and destroyed both my headlights, and fog lights. ALSO when i went to slam it in reverse to back up, it fricked somthing up in the shifter so now it doesnt know its it park, i can take it in and out of gear with the car off, and through all the gears, and it doesnt think its in park, so it wont release the key lock, and now my keys stuck in the ignition. So the total damage, including the key lock wich insureance will cover. 2100$ at one body shop, and 3000 at another. The 3000 Quote said i need a new condenser, and fan, but i told them my fan and the condenser were already bent up from a possible previous accedent by another owner. Soo i have no clue whats gonna happen, Im pretty pissed about it, all my hard work and money and this happens in an instant. Arrrhg, my claims adjuster said it will get fixed, and most likley not totalled, so thats a good sign.

Oh AND the guy had NO insurance, and no tabs. He got 3 tickets, 1 for not yielding the right of way, 1 for no insurance, and 1 for no tabs.

Good thing you didn't get hurt. I'd sue that bastard. On the plus side, atleast the brand new valance is still intact, not even any paint damage form what I can see. Altogether, it doesn't look like the car is in that bad of shape at all, especially after he was driving, as you said, "mach 5". You're lucky!

Why cant that happen when a normal grand prix is coming down the road?

Prospeeder

Just in case, My body shop guy cant get me a bumper cover. Anyone have one they might sell? My body guy says his data base is updated monthly, and tells him when parts are discontinued. The bumper cover has a price, and a picture in his computer. Also does anyone in the washington area have a hood?

Holy shit man!  Glad you're okay and the TGP isn't horribly damaged.  On the plus side, it looks as if your valence escaped relatively unscathed!! :icon_eek: :thumb:

Ouch Erik! Glad you're ok. It doesn't look like the TGP took a whole lot of damage considering. I kinda doubt they have a TGP bumper cover available through that bodyshop supplier since nobody else has ever mentioned them being available.

Agreed. When I had my first one estimated years back (had a few cracks in the plastic) my local body shop said they could get it. SO they ordered it, but the parts catalog is wrong. They list one for ours, but it's not...it's a standard SE cover. Then they brought in a 91-93 front end LMAO!

Oh well that sucks, Im not getting my hopes up he can get one. But does anyone here have one they might let go? I can pay top dollar with my insurance money.

Speeder I posted this a while ago and you are free to use this info as you wish.  I worked for a Pontiac dealer and out of my own interest I looked up the part number for the fascia and it was in stock a year ago when I last checked.  I do not have the part number, I may be able to get it but you can do it as well.  The part will show discontinued in the dealers database but will mention it is available from the  link I posted in the thread below.  I know it will cost a pretty penny to get a hold of, but available nevertheless.  The business is called Vintage Parts LLC and stocks many disco parts for many different cars.  Good luck if you decide to repair it with a new cover.
