Hey guys...as most of you know, I've been trying to sell either my 95 SHO or my TGP, and I kinda pulled the advertising on the TGP so I can just get rid of the SHO. Well, today I got an email from a guy who is interested in trading my 95 SHO for his 85 Porsche 944, bright red, lots of new parts, and a new clutch. (I don't know how to drive a manual, but I WILL lol) I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about these cars that I should check before hand?

I need to be rid of vehicles, but I think a Porsche will sell faster than a SHO lol. NADAguides.com value is almost triple the SHO's worth for median value.

Any thoughts?

If you plan on selling it, go for it. But if you are planning on keeping it, dont. The 944 is probly porches worst built car ever. Manifold problems, and other issues. Compare the prices for SHO's and the 944 on ebay and see how they are selling compared to each other and see what you come up with..

Thanks for the tips, guys! I know jack about Porsche's other than their name stands for "Proof Of Rich Spoiled Children Having Everything"...other than that, I'm useless.

I BELIEVE it's an 85.5...just from the pics it appears to have the different bumper and for as close as the interior shot looks, it appears to have an identical interior to the ones on eBay...all of those are 85.5's also. Manifold problems? Other problems? What happens to the manifold, and what other problems?

I don't remember most of the problem areas myself, but this site is good reading.

Well, after he sent me the pics for the interior, it turns out it is in fact a 1985, no half year change model. Sucky.
