i have a 1992 Grand prix  with a 3.1 and the dam alternator is dead. and i can't get the last bolt off in the back is because the of a connecting wire that looks like a spark wire to the alternator. How do i disconnect  that wire?

you take a 13mm or 15mm socket and remove the entire bracket from the side of the block....makes it alot easyer....takes me about 12-15 Mins to pull and replace the alt.....then you remove the bolt though the black brace on the back and pull it out then disconnect the alt wire...and then pull the alt off the bracket and replace and then put the plug and the wire back on and then put the bracket back in place and put the bolt though the back and then put the belt back on and then start it and see if you belt jumps off or not...and your done...
