Datamaster is good but very old. I LOVE Tunerpro RT. Mark and Craig are GREAT people and have VERY good customer service..

Well the guy I have helping me tune my carS prefers that I use datamaster for logging data.  I for the life of me cannot "sync" it.  Any pointers?

Tell your guy to use tuner pro RT it is free and you can get the .ads file right off their website.  So much easier.  I can't help with the datamaster......sounds like dungeon master!

Already went around with that one, no go.  Can't teach old dogs new tricks I guess.  :p
I would like to learn how to use both, because right now I know nothing.

AH HA! Got it to read data...  Didn't save it though (Probably didn't select right thing or something) and it wasn't a steady connection.  It randomly dropped connection and started "syncing" .

Datamaster is a great program. I just haven't used it in a long time. Tunerpro RT is much more user friendly. As far as the syncing it could be a bad ground in the cable, the cable it self is bad or the ground in the aldl connector. Just guessing tho...
