So I was thinking of doin something a little different... yet the same with an intake setup on the TGP. You know how the stocker goes across the front of the engine and grabs air from the fender. Well I was thinking of getting some more pipe and runnin it to that location and down with a cone and then wrapping the pipe with insulating wrap. I don't know if it will be worth the trouble and money or if I should just get a cone right on the turbo.

Cold air intakes are great ways to make  few more horsies but I have heard some horror stories about hydrolocked motors from going through puddles.  If you are going to do one I would route it into the fender well behind the splash shield/front bumper.   I just sport a filter on the turbo I figure the air is going to get hot either way from it going right next to the exhaust when it goes through the turbo.  I dunno let me know what you do ;)

Check out flybinite's recent thread. He has a pipe coming off the turbo that shoots straight downward and has his air filter on it. To run something into the fender well on the opposite side(like I'm thinking) would require some cutting. I can take some pictures of my red car without the beauty cover on it and show you what's in the fender well area that you'd need to move or route things around if you want. I probably will not be back online for a few days though...

ya, I am not worried about puddles and shit cuz I don't drive it in the rain or anything like that if I can avoid it. I also want to avoid any cutting/movin shit around... MAYBE do a battery redirect but I don't even think I want to do that, that's why I was thinking runnin to the passenger side. idk, I'll think of something.

Oh ok then well then just do it like adam did then, get some Stainless exhaust pipe and bends and mock it up.  Then take it to your muffler shop and have em weld it up for you and slap a filter on the end, your done ;)
