Pilot Bearing??

Do the 282s have a pilot bearing, I don't remember seeing one when I took everything apart, but I guess it's possible it fell upon removal and I didn't see it...I also did a search for one on parts sites for both grand prixs, and just to make sure, berettas and cavaliers too, and saw no part listed at all.

No front drive GM car used a piolot bearing from what I searched

My cavalier used one.. 4 cyl, 5 speed. I dont remember the tranny. It was a 93, and was a bitch. That particular tranny was only used for 3-5 months during that production year build.

i was super confused when i took my trans out too; had to look it up in my factory manual and check a couple places cause i was like "this can't be right....."
