Yup, I don't drive it anymore and its time to move on.

I've had this car since November of 1998 when my Dad helped me import it from Baltimore MD.

It has not been winter driven since I've imported it.

This is as clean of a 1st gen J-body you will find in the salt belt. Paint is a bit faded and has been repainted once before I owned it. I have buffed it, and it looks a lot better now.

It has the 2.slow inline 4 cylinder and the TH125 3 spd auto. I repaired the TCC lockup solenoid when I bought the car. You will not be breaking land speed records with this car I assure you. It runs along great non the less.

Would also be the perfect candidate for a V6 5 spd swap or the like.

The car has been fitted with a fiberglass Z24 cowl hood, Z24 specific bumper covers, Z24 grille and headlight bezels, aftermarket fiberglass side skirts (rare), a Z24 spoiler (rare but cracked) and a aftermarket pop up sunroof (doesn't leak).

Inside the car has the Z24/RS black interior in excellent shape. The drivers seat has been professionally recovered to new condition, and the headliner has been redone.

It also has a Lotek A pillar pod with Autometer coolant temp and oil pressure gauges (better than the dummy lights) as well as a Sunpro tach (a small one)

It has a Hornet 2 way alarm, remote start, keyless entry, power trunk unit.

It has a Dynomax Superturbo muffler made specifically for the older J-bodies, as well as a newer Walker cat and newer rear shocks.

The car has been in heated indoor storage for the last 3 yrs. and prior to that was stored every winter.

Mileage readout is 73000 miles

Asking $1900 CDN or $1500 USD

NEW PICS!!! All cleaned up.

I'll buy it if it comes with the black car in the background.

how difficult is it to bring a car into the US from Canadastan?

will my 282 setup from a GP work for one of these beasts?

Here's the only decent site I could find explaining the process.

http://www.canadatotwincities.com/buy_car.html

Since you would be buying privately (not through a dealer) you wouldn't have to pay the GST.

The car originally came from the states so it should be pretty painless.

I beleive you need a 282 out of a J-body because the casings are different. Your best bet would be to pick up a cheap rotted out parts J-car to use for all the swap parts.

Sorry the TGP is not for sale at this time.

For me to bring a car from the USA into Canada:

I have to have a GM VIS printout stating that the vehicle has no open recalls,

I have to fax a copy of the title to the border crossing 72 hrs before crossing the border with the car.

I have to have a bill of sale that dictates what I pay in duty to cross the border (5% GST)

If the car has A/C theres an additional $100 excise tax

Once I get it home I have to take it to an inspection center where they confirm it meets all Canadian safety regulations for that model year.

From there on out its like registering a normal vehicle.

You'll have to call you DMV or search more on the internet, there seems to be a lot of documentation for USA to Canada, but not much for the other way around.
