Hello everyone! I talked with Idbeast today and he gave me this message board to come to. I didn't know it existed...I had been going to the w-body one. Maybe this one fits better?!?!?!

I was driving down I-5 this afternoon and my anti lock light started blinking...and just when I thought NOTHING would happen ever again. It's just my psycho car reminding me who's boss I guess. Anyhow, when I got home I turned the car off and then back on and no light but I am going to check the fluid in the morning. Do I have to do that "pump the brakes 40 times" thing before I open up the brake fluid chamber? Or can I just rip it open like I always do???   Let me know...I will check back here before I do that in the morning.

Anyhow, it was great to talk to Idbeast today...it had been a long time. Now if I could only hear Jeff M's sweet voice in my ear again, my life will be complete again.

Talk later,

You will have to pump the pedal after every time the key is turned on. Otherwise you will overfill it.

Every time you turn the ignition on it charges the brake system. If you want to check the fluid level you HAVE to depressurize the system by pressing the brake pedal 40 times. If you check it without releasing the pressure the fluid level may appear low. If you add fluid it will be overfull when you do depressurize the system.

My ABS light goes on sometimes too.  After the key is turned off and on a few times, it goes away.  In fact, I think in the owners manual it says the light may come on from time to time.  Not a problem, unless it doesn't go off.

Thanks for the clarification Red.

After I got home, I turned the car off and then sat for 30 seconds and then started it and it went out and hasn't come back on since.

It's still running great!!!

Thanks,

Snip
