Alright, I have the car out of storage and I am getting new tires put on this Saturday. Then it is back to work on this car!

Tires didn't come in until yesterday. Have an appointment for them to be mounted Sat morning. Getting anxious to drive it!

I had the tires put on Saturday. Put a new battery in it as well and it is a completely different car. Runs awesome, smooth riding like I didn't expect. No check engine lights, no brake lights in the dash. I was very pleasantly surprised. When I had it inspected and emissioned I took it to a dealership and asked them to check out the suspension parts because it rode so bad I was sure it had to be worn out. They told me everything looked great and seemed in good shape. The car sat on the old tires for 5 years without moving before I bought the car. Apparently that makes them ride like they are square! Now I just have to find time to start working out minor bugs. Love the car so far!

I got the VSS. Just have to install it and I will update the results. $90 for the damn thing!

Can anyone post a pic of where this VSS sensor is? Thanks in advance!

Don't have a picture but it's on the very end of the trans on the passenger side right before the halfshaft

Got it. Thanks. I guess the next question is do I access it from above or below the car. Looks like it would probably be easiest from below? Thanks in advance! I need to get this done and then move on to the TCC.  :icon_mad:

Went to swap it out and it looks like the replacement I bought from Rockauto is just a little different. Mounting holes are just barely off.  :icon_evil:
