I've been reading about this GM top engine cleaner. Will it help my TGP or hurt it in any way? Does it help anything?

Anybody??  Has anyone used it or know anything about it. I was gonna use a can but I'm not sure if it will help or hurt the TGP.

Yes I have used it about 3 times, twice on my GMC Syclone (once in liquid through the brake booster hose, once in the throttle body using aerosol) and once using liquid on my 93 Cavalier Z24 w/3.1.  It worked the best BY FAR on the Cavalier judging by the huge smoke clouds generated.  That could be because of any of the following reasons:

1. The Cavalier has 140K miles, the Syclone has 40K.
2. On the Cavalier I only let it sit for 20 minutes TOPs, on the Syclone I let it soak for over 1.5 hours.  Dont let it soak longer than 20 minutes, in my opinion.

If you have any questions let me know.  www.syty.net and www.sytyarchives.com (in the HowTo section especially) have articles on the Top Engine Cleaner.  Highly recommend that SyTyArchives one.
