This unit is the one I pulled from my car when I put the rebuilt unit from prior in.  I know it has a bad accumulator.  It has no leaks and the ABS part of it is functioning properly.  It's got a $100 starting bid at ebay to cover the money I would have gotten by returning it to prior.  I figured I might offer this to the TGP community to see if anyone might be interested in it.

I will post some pictures of it later today.

Any questions just reply to this and I'll be happy to answer them best I can.

You can bid on it on ebay:

I'm confused why you would be auctioning this instead of returning it to prior. IMO it would be best to return the core to prior, so there are cores in circulation and it reduces the downtime for others in need, especially if its a unit with problems.

Or rather, I assume you probably got the rebuilt because the accumulators are getting pricey. For the money its a good bet to get the rebuilt instead of the accumulator. However, since yours is not leaking (being the number 1 problem) maybe someone could replace the accumulator and have a good unit for less than a rebuilt one.

I see.

How many more times do I have to write this throughout my site!

Sorry Chris I did that w/o your consent.

Your site was extremely helpful in the process of replacing the m/c.

I'll update my e-bay listing if u like and put on there where I got the pic, or I can remove it if u rather have me do that.

Again, sorry bout that.

:)

Glad the site was helpful. I really don't care that it gets used, I would just like a reference to where it came from (ie Pic courtesy www.turbogpgarage.com), with the picture or in the description please.

The one the really burned me up was when someone copied the enitre "What is a Turbo Grand Prix" and didn't give a smidge of reference. It took quite a bit of work to come up with that stuff and to make it into a webpage.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks for the revision! here's a free bump!

I think I am going to revise my webpage to include instructions about quoting items on my page. I will maintain the copy right notations, but also state that if material is used it should be quoted in a specific manner. If not, then I will ask it be removed, not just amended. What do you think?

Sounds like a very good Idea to me, and I think I'll do the same on turbograndprix.com
