Won't turn over.

So explains how this happens... Last weekend the car was running fine, made a trip to Pensacola FL and back; it was fun driving through record-setting fog, hahaha. Tuesday morning, it gets down to about 20*F out of nowhere, and when I try to start the car, it turns over a few times, slower each time, until it just won't crank any more. Since then, the motor absolutely will not turn over. My charger dial says the battery is fully charged. I can hear the starter "click" every time I turn the key. Any ideas?

Take your battery out and have it tested at a Auto parts store, sounds like a battery issue, or if you can test for cranking amps see what you have.   You should still be able to jump it.

I had it tested (Result was good) and charged at AAP literally the week before, and my auto battery charger at home says it's still fully charged. I'll try jumping it once there's another car back home.

You can recharge the volts with a charger but can not (to my knowledge) recharge the AMPs.  I was just home and recharged two of my cars Optima batteries.  On my one car the battery charger said 13.4 Volts and 20 CCA (Cold Cranking AMPs) but when I tries to start the car ZONK!! back down to 5 volts.  I then jumped it off another battery and let the car charge it for 45 minutes and had 90 CCA's back in it.

You may also want to check the fluid level in the battery also, a low fluid level can cause problems.  This is common in hot environments.

I would have thought that me and your car has the same problem but mind  most definitly has and  electrical issue,  which I will resolve as soon as I start putting the car back together. I could jump in the car in the morning and car would start no problem but after driving for about 30 min when I pull into someplace and return the car won't even crank over, but when I put the big screw driver on the solenoid it cranks. It was the way I determined whether it was the battery or car.

If the battery is known to be good (using a load tester), Put a volt meter on the battery and crank it over. If it dips low It might be the starter or a/c compressor bearings locked up --remove serpentine belt and spin pullies--check for locked up alternator tentioners ect..or something else mechanical (engine locked). If the voltage doesn't dip, might be a bad ground to engine or power to starter or even worn starter brushes.

My car is having some similar issues so far I have a new battery, alt tested good, started tested good no signficant drop in volts during starting. When the motor is below freeezing temps the starter will turn but it won't fire up on the first try sometimes it only takes a couple of tries sometimes it won't fire at all any ideas?

Dead cell in the battery. Forgot to update, sorry, this was a week ago.
