I know that it would take a new turbo, but i am not wanting to change the housings or the way that the turbo mounts, so is there any internals that i could use in my stock turbo (with some machining ofcourse) that will be able to support 300hp? i sound like a noob...i know lol but please just try to point me in the right direction for this. i also realize that i need some supporting mods like a tune, intake, exhaust, etc...etc...i am just lost on the upgrading the turbo part

http://www.tgpforums.com/index.php/topic,5570.0.html, talk to flybynite here or w-body about this turbo. keep reading for other options as there are several ie. GT2860rs or GT2871r or the GTX series turbos between those. The main issue is the different oil and water line connector which i don't believe is too difficult as ATP turbo sells a kit for that

Not to mention the 3076R with the T25 flange.  :icon_twisted:

I've got one with a GT28RS.  Big upgrade.  And very easy to do.

pricey lol...but what all is required to put that turbo on??

Heartbeat1991

Very little.  A couple of plumbing parts will get the lines hooked up easily.  It will run at that point.  But you'd need to either dial back the boost, or swap to bigger injectors and a tune.  Huge improvement.  Can't even stress how much difference that is.

so itll line up with my current flanges??

redgrandprix

i pretty sure they will line up but the new turbine housing won't have an o2 sensor bung so you will have to relocate that onto the downpipe.

Heartbeat1991

/\ Exactly.  I will get a pic posted up for you.

Ok thanks! Post those as soon as you can
