Just received my 1989 issue of Automobile magazine from eBay. It has a red TGP and a gray Thunderbird Super Coupe on the cover. It also has "Stealing Ford's Thunder."

The TGP ran a 15.3 to the SC 15.7. Even though the SC has a 5-speed, rwd, 5hp more and 315ft/lbs of torque, the extra 450lbs didn't help any.

I was just looking at that issue.  I haven't read the article yet but it looks like a good one!

The thunderbird cs and the new GTP's have the same eaton m90 supercharger.

no, they were M90s, and they were intercooled too.  Too bad Ford put it on the 3.8 V6 though.  I wonder what their thinking behind that was...

they can be easily modified though!  I got 3 neigbors with them blue, red, and white.   Each will rip my asss.  They don't have the bs ecu restrictions we do.  The just upped the injectors and blower pulley and walllah.  The white one has regular bumpers, removed kit, and black donut look rims  :lol: !   I just tell em mine I can't rase cuz mine is rare so I want to baby it LOL!
