Anyone have one for sale?  My pass side is flapping around, and I'm gettin the nose painted next week, and I need a newer one!   Anyone help me?  Are they the same off of the GTP's?  Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the GTP vents are smaller.

I believe that the early GTP vents are the same size...I'm thinking only '91.  After that they went to the smaller size vents that we all are familar with.

All Grand Prix louvers from 89-93 should be the same, regardless of what type of HP model they came off.

here are the part #"s for the 89/90 TGP and 91-93 GTP hood louvers which are the same. These are for the louvers themselves, not the drip pans and mounting hardware which come in a seperate package.

Well I only need one and GM Parts Direct has them, I need the passenger one, which is 12504749 correct?  I don't wanna order the wrong one.  My old one is cracked due to the mounting being broken.  Is it fixable or should I order a whole new setup?  Anyone have the mounting part #'s?

I can get them for you this evening if you haven't got them yet. Im on my way to bed or I'd do it now. Sorry.

mfewtrail

I'm not sure how they are denoting left hand side and right hand side. You might want to call GMpartsdirect and ask about that. Anyway, here are the drip pans and mounting hardware kit #'s

One of mine on the car I bought had half the mounts broken off. I glued them back on and then reinforced it with liquid steel..but it's still to weak. I'm just going to get a new one. The other vent was broken..but I got a new one from a guy on w-body.com for $17 :D

sorry, I never checked on those, someone emailed them to me a while back...also just because they don't work on the gmpartsdirect website doesn't mean that they don't have them, did you call them or what? just curious...I believe the guy who gave me the #'s actually called and checked on them. I will try to get in touch with him sometime soon to figure out the proper #'s if those are actually wrong.

Those are the correct numbers, according to my GM parts book. I meant they don't work on GMPartsdirect. I didn't call the dealer cause I'm not in need of them.

i saw some on a GTP and they were smaller than my TGP vents???  also how the hell you keep them from leaking into the engine bay.  Mine leaked in the bay over a period of time and it totally rusted out my battery tray

What year GTP was it? '94-'96 GTP's have smaller vents.

You don't. The vents drain into the bay.

The tray was probably rusted out from a battery that leaked at some point in time.
