I remember reading a post a long time ago that suggested a few things to replace for a good running TGP. (probably on the real old forum, can't find it anymore).  Well, since I am planning on getting the topgun chip in may/june, I want to do some basic maintenence first.  Besides plugs/wires, O2 sensor, PCV valve, and fuel filter; what else should be done?  I will probably get the K&N filter soon also, can't wait to see how much difference the combo makes!  :D

One thing you didn't mention is the tranny.  You might want to do a filter swap and fluid change since you are probably going to be pounding the pavement a little harder with that new chip (I know I would be  )

Probably be a good idea to get those 3.1 motor mounts from www.fastfwdperformance.com They've done wonders for my non-chipped car in terms of off the line acceleration.

You can also get a new fuel pressure regulator, MAP sensor, throttle position sensor, and a few other sensors.

I would say replace your IAC $12, and crank sensor $15.
