I am just curious, does anybody make headers for tgps? I haven't heard anything on the subject, except that they possibly wouldn't fit. Ideas? Thanks,

There aren't any headers for any 3.1 Gen II motor. There is an effort to try and get them made, but I'm not sure how thats going. What ever is available, would have to be made specificially for the turbo motor.

Yeah i figured it would have to be turbo specific, perhaps, chip turbo specific would be better. But anything would probaly flow better than the boat anchors cars come with. Oh, i meant exhaust mainfolds.

Last I heard..the 3100 headers and the 3.4 headers were in the testing stages. Turbo headers would be a different story though...and I'm not sure if they'd even be possible  :?

Correct. hole different ballpark. the would be called "turbo manifolds" rather then headers. you can get a custom set build assuming your going to be making enough power to require for the additional flow. Or you can get your stock manfiolds ported that should be worth a little bit.

I was just curious, because all i've ever heard about headers is good, it seems like they flow a ton more than the stock exhuat manifolds, kind of like the head porting thing. How benefical would you say it would be to port you manifolds? I know i'm not making near enough power to "Require them" but I was just curious.

Headers flow so much better because each exhaust port is given it's own "pipe". Nothing will even come close to giving you as much flow as they would. Exhaust porting will not net you much..maybe 5-10hp. It's not very benefical unless you plan on upgrading the turbo. :)
