Quote from: 90TGPGirlMy TGP is finally in the bodyshop all torn down.  The hood and right fender were removed to fix the dents...but when they took the hood off, they saw that it had a lot more damage than they thought.   It needs 8 hours of body time!  Ouch!  They told me that it would be easier to get a new hood, but they are like $1,500 bux!  SO...I opted to stay with the original hood and use lots of mud!  Anyways...just thought I'd share the progress.  My car should be on the road next week....I can't wait...but man...my wallet sure can!  But oh well, it's worth it.

I wouldn't recommend using alot of filler if thats whats needed. Do like was said and get a regular GP hood and cut the holes in it, its very easy to do. They are right that a new hood is $$$$, but because the hood is so flimsy with the large holes in it, chances are the filler may crack. THere is supposed to be some reinforcement kit, but I haven't actually seen it, but I have a  part number on my page you may be interested in.

Well, here are some pics of the TGP in progress.  The hood and fender came out real nice.  They didn't need to use a ton of filler on the hood, they made sure not to make it even flimsier than it already is.  As of right now, the car is in the paint booth.  I should have it back by early next week.
